We're seeking a Digital Marketing Associate with 3+ years' experience managing email marketing and social media for a company/brand to join our marketing team in Chicago.

The Digital Marketing Associate's primary focus will be email marketing, social media and copywriting. The Digital Marketing Associate will help position SABRE as the leader in our category across our digital ecosystem, developing and implementing digital content (videos, infographics, links) and marketing assets (forms, whitepapers, catalogs) via email, social and web. Strong Writing and Graphic Design skills are a must. This position will also have the opportunity to assist in strategic planning and implementation in all tasks and projects related to the SABRE Brand.

Who Are You?

  • You are enthusiastic and have a real passion for digital marketing - especially email marketing and social media
  • You've managed email marketing accounts, successfully growing lists, driving revenue and building campaigns/automation within an email marketing tool
  • You have experience managing social media accounts and content, for multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • You are creative, know your way around photoshop, and have no problem thinking up copy for a social post on the spot
  • As a self-motivated and organized team member, you have the ability to multi-task and manage your time and projects
  • You are technically savvy and have a strong interest in expanding your digital marketing skills - actively seeking out the latest trends in digital marketing to ensure that your email marketing and social media skills remain current and relevant

What Will You Do?

  • Write marketing and product copy for emails, social, amazon, and the website ranging from product descriptions to ad copy for digital media
  • Manage monthly content calendar (Social Media, Video, Email, Blog)
  • Create social media and email marketing content that helps to educate and inspire our customers and followers
  • Manage email marketing including copywriting, designing, building or coding, deployment and reporting of consumer newsletter, sales & promotions and B2B emails
  • Build automated drip campaigns aimed at growing lists and driving revenue
  • Manage social media communities, scheduling and posting to social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
  • Create and manage paid social media campaigns
  • Schedule and post videos based on distribution strategy, implementing best practices like tagging
  • Working with SEO team to develop blog content aligned to marketing goals
  • Source, select and capture photo content
  • Analyze performance of our content and provide insight to team on a regular basis
  • Assist manager with monthly analytics reports (social media, email marketing, and website performance) that are sent to the larger marketing team
  • Monitor competitor activity across social media platforms

In additional, you'll assist with a wide variety of copywriting and marketing tasks including but not limited to:

  • Writing ad copy for digital media, campaigns and products
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) research to support content creation and ecommerce efforts
  • Uploading appropriate photos, copy and blogs on website CMS

REQUIREMENTS

Hard Skills

  • 3+ years of Digital Marketing experience, ad-agency or in-house preferred
  • 1+ years managing all aspects of email marketing platform and campaigns for brand or company
  • In-depth working knowledge of YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to effectively, persuasively and professionally communicate with audiences
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Soft Skills

  • A love of all things digital, social and email marketing
  • Collaborative with confidence to recommend and own new ideas
  • Knowledge of email marketing and design best practices that drive positive consumer engagement
  • Be able to effectively communicate and coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Thrive under pressure in a fast-paced work environment and ability to prioritize when working on multiple simultaneous project
  • Process-oriented with High attention to detail
  • Interested in opportunities for advancement as our company grows

Nice to Have

  • Experience building automation for B2B and B2C
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator & InDesign
  • Search Engine Optimization Experience
